Started the day off with a nice hike with some friends. The mountains were beautiful and we had some great views on this glorious, clear day. (Talk of rain this weekend has everyone abuzz in our thirsty land.)
We went out for lunch afterwards, two dogs and all, finding a table on the patio of a neighborhood restaurant. I was able to order wisely and stop eating when I had had enough.
Last night, a friend came over to work on a project our daughters had for school. The work took a lot longer than anticipated and it started to get very late for dinner. My original dinner plan would not have worked adding two extra mouths, so we opted for the easy solution and called for pizza. I had a moderate portion, not stuffing myself as I have been known to do, so I am going to consider it a success.
Thankfully, my daughter's birthday cake is gone!

Started my a weight training class yesterday and I am certainly feeling it in my legs today! I still made myself get back to the gym today to get in some cardio and arms.
My day has mostly been filled with errands, but I was able to resist the urge to grab a quick (and less than ideal!) lunch and held out until I could get home and eat.
So far, a pretty good day...

Feels like I am making progress now. I have been eating better and I can feel the difference. I need to capture the feeling and save it to motivate me for maintenance when I get back there.

I was sick several days last week, barely moving from bed. When I emerged, I was ready to eat everything in sight. I managed to do okay. I'm hoping to get more exercise this week. I feel stiff and tired.
