Does anyone else make Carbquik biscuits? I LOVE them. Right now I'm having one with Shrimp/egg salad and half an avocado. Perfect break-fast. I also use them as a base for strawberry shortcake. Yumm.

I was shocked at only a 2lb gain. I'll weigh again to double check. First meal back on lchf. I'm really looking forward to some eating. The propane is not back on yet so we're relying on microwave and toaster oven. It's fine. Very happy to be home. Happy Monday everyone. 💕

We're home. The Mandatory Evacuation order was lifted on Friday. We picked up our pooch yesterday and drove in today. It's smoky and we can see the fire continuing around the lake to the NE. 150K+ acres burned and it's nowhere near contained. We're very glad to be home but it is sad. Everyone one we love is safe even if displaced. CalFire is doing an amazing job of keeping the fires out of the towns. We are very grateful.

I dropped totally out of keto about a week ago. Tomorrow is reckoning day. The scale and I have 7:30 date. It will probably take several days to get back in Ketosis. I have to go grocery shopping and will get back in the swing at break-fast. I want to make sure to get electrolytes and salt this time and stay out of keto flu. I'm looking forward to my WOE and feeling really good. 👍👍💕💕

On the road - hwy 80 - returning from Ohio. Brother lucid which is what we prayed for. Taking it a little slower coming back. Dropped out of Keto at brother's house. Easier on the road. Overeating. I'm interested to see how much I gain. It's okay. I know how to take it off.

On Friday we were notified that a huge fire was roaring toward our town. We live in Lakeport CA. There was a mandatory evacuation on Saturday. It's burned some 70,000 acres and is going around the lake on either side of us. So far they've kept it out of Lakeport. CalFire is doing a magnificent job along with companies from far and near. There is also a big fire in Redding which is taking a big effort too.

We can't go home so we're heading for Petaluma where our daughter is. The only bright side is our insurance is paying for our trip and for 2 weeks, lodging and gasoline.

Wish us luck and that we can get home soon. So far everyone we love is safe. That's really all that counts. God and family are everything. 💕

Leaving in a couple of hours. Jim's younger brother is in Hospice Care and not expected live more than a week or two. We're driving because Jim can't do planes. He did this same trip with his his X (our Sister-in-in love) the first of June. 4800 miles round trip in 5 1/2 days. We'll probably take a week. I'm gonna do my best to do straight through but my body may not allow it. We want to get there while he's still cognizant. I also want to stay more than 24 hours if it
makes sense.

I'm going to stay as close to my WOE as I can. I'd like to come back to no weight gain. The important thing is for Jim to get to say goodbye to his little bro. 💕
