ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
first, thanks to everyone who "yelled" at me for not having a journal...alot has happened since my last post and not necessarily in this order...but here goes...
Personal front: the hubby's fire captain passed away the same week we were ushering at a local teen challenge concert...about 1500 kids each night...after the show i would do the data entry to record all the names and addresses of everyone who was there...it was awesome...one night of hawaiian dancers, flame throwers, hula girls...and one night of body builders and extreme stunts...have a look...http://www.impactworldtour.com/Group/Group.aspx?ID=1000033145 ...
a friend of mine's husband was in town from florida last week, went to dinner with his son and cousin and on the drive home had a heart attack and died...that weekend we also had a wedding rehearsal that we are doing the audio and video for...so we went to church, the funeral, and the wedding rehearsal all in one day...
i took a new unpaid part time position doing audio and video production - so every week i spend about 4 hours working on editing and learning two new programs...it is very interesting...
and in two weeks we will be doing the audio and video for this ... http://www.somusicfest.com/ ... we have done this one for 4 years...however now i will get to work on the web page and make the commercials for the tv and radio for it for next march's show...it will be a lot of fun...
this week we are having a fall party at the house - we will have about 25 people or so on saturday night...after the wedding that we did the rehearsal for last weekend...that about covers the next couple of weeks...the weeks that follow are just as bad...
i do have a new assistant now...he is in his first week of training...so shortly i will be able to reduce my work hours by 9 per week...so this is a great relief...YEAH WHO...
the first weekend in october we went on a mini vacation...here are some of the pics...
this is the first lighthouse we went to...it is on marblehead...
there is a draw bridge in the background...it is hard to see...but very neat to go through

the next two are us on our rented golf cart...my ankle had given out from all of the walking...
we had toured a small cave under this winery...
the next two are mansfield state prison...hubby has worked in there before...

this is a vacation weight gain...i did not change the reasonably well to poorly - because it was reasonably well...just not excellent...i can handle this...
