Day 7 first week now completed a total of 6100 calorie deficit and weighed in at -1.4kg for the week.
I have got to be pleased overall but I wasn't expecting two days of drop and five days of plateau. It is what it is.

In the garden I have had a lot of success in trimming and apparent progress is the opposite of my weight. I spent another three hours yesterday and three intertwined trees are significantly tidier. There is still a lot to do but when finished it will expand the usable area of our garden and improve the outlook. A lot of what is left is chainsaw work so I will take this in smaller chunks. It may take several weeks of an hour a day but this area has been left to it's own devices for 40 odd years. I quite fancy building a fire pit area here when it's totally cleared.

For week 2 the plan is for a 700 calorie daily deficit -Hoping to lose another 1kg min

stay safe

Day 6 - All went well yesterday with 690 calorie deficit
In between the rain showers I managed a nice 10k run to clock 52km for the prior week.
The end of today will be the last day of the first week of effort and even if my weight doesn't change 1.6kg is a much better loss than I was actually expecting. Some sort of additional drop is probably due after passing 3 days at the same weight. Fingers crossed

I'm finding this time that having a light breakfast (160 calories) and lunch (300 calories) works best, it means that I can have a 1200 plus calorie dinner so I then feel reasonably full during the evening.

Hopefully I will find time for another 10k run today and keep to a circa 750 deficit to finish my first week. The weather looks a little nicer so also a drive out to the seaside is a possibility.

Stay safe and keep off the cakes
