Another day down. Was a little hungrier though the day but still felt satisfied with what I ate at each of my two meals. I’m taking the hungry feels as a good thing because I’m recognizing that while the bod needs fuel, it doesn’t need it right now. That the light hungry feeling is OK.

I still think my scale is trolling me with the sub 319 readings. Will see over the next couple of days. Was able to comfortably fit a pair of office slacks that I have not worn in over a year. Still a long way to go to get into the trove of 38” waist jeans and slacks I have from 4-5 years ago but I will get there. Especially since I have no intention of buying new clothes until those are to big and I can wear 34 or 36. :D

I was going to write a little bit about what I feel needs to go into planning for all this, especially if, like myself, one has struggled up and down for a while. But to damn tired to really put thoughts together. Perhaps I'll try another day. Hope everyone has a good, relaxing, evening.

I think my scale is trolling me… (damn electronics have an evil sense of humor)... weighed 5 times a couple minutes apart and got numbers a little below the 319 each time. Whatever the case may be, real or being trolled, i’m recording the 319 and taking the win. Seeing that was pretty freaking cool in my book.

Real progress was show yesterday when I was getting ready for a ride on the scoot and was able to comfortably put on a pair of jeans I had not been able to wear for at least over a year. Good thing too! I had made it a point not to get any more clothes until I had gotten my <bleep> together as was back to working on health and being in reasonable sizes. Still a LONG way to go but heading in the right direction.

Still need to work on getting more sleep as well as getting up early enough so I can get a walk in, before getting into the workday but that will come in time.

Time to get coffee in the system and kickstart the braincell. Hope y’all have a good day. Keep your eyes on the prize and do something, any little thing, to move closer to it.

No movement on the scale today. Not unexpected after the drop realized yesterday. Got a walk in yesterday that felt good. I probably need to get some walking shoes. Swiped by son's (8th grader and 6'3") basketball shoes that he outgrew last year to walk in which are ok for the job but not optimal. Also took a good ride on the bike and it really struck me that with the loss so far I'm very much getting back to feeling myself again.

As it relates to IF… I’m finding it interesting that I’m learning when I’m actually hungry (when the bod need fuel) vs. feeling hungry as a pavlovian response to a time of day or as a coping response to the crap life throws one’s way. It’s not I don’t feel the latter non-hungry hungries, but I’m beginning to differentiate the feelings and act appropriately as it relates to my goals. I also find I’m quicker to reach that satisfied/full point when eating which is nice since I hate that overstuffed feeling even though I did that to myself regularly before kicking myself in the ass and getting back to healthier habits. I can see how doing OMAD would work for me but feel I would need to reorganize worklife to consistently have a much bigger midday meal. I am going to try it on my next business trip just (usually a week long) to see how I fair.

Time for some tea (gunpowder green) to get the day going. Another walk and another ride in the plans for the day as well as doing some work and a little gaming. Remember every little step forward is a victory, so take that next little step and keep moving forward to what you want for yourself.

An unexpected drop. I guess this means I'm not plateauing yet. :D :D It's nice to see the progress in the numbers but the real progress to me is in the simple fact I'm noticeably less… mammoth sized, even to my eyes. Things are fitting looser and was even able to wear a belt that was too short a month ago. In addition, as i have mentioned before, the mind is feeling sharper and more focused making the fast paced chaos that is my work a bit less stressful.

I’ve worked to greatly reduce the amount of artificial sweeteners I consume but cutting out diet sodas, pops, cokes (depending what part of the US you are from) as well as stopped using splenda stuff at home when I have tea, only using a teaspoon of erythritol every other day or so when I simply want a bit of a sweet taste. Aside from many things I’ve read indicating that artificial sweeteners might sabotage weight loss in a number of ways, I figure if its something ants won’t eat, then perhaps I shouldn’t be eating it as well. :P

Anyway, here is to progress and sticking to the plan. With focus and some luck I’ll see the 300 mark before the end of April. I hope everyone has a good day and remember to so something, any little thing, that moves you closer to your goals.
