Finally stepped out and got my food from the grocery store. I didn't really enjoy the turkey cold cuts. I prefer them thin sliced. I should've stuck with the brand that I like. Oh well...Now snacking on some pecan halves and peanut butter.
Despite it being TOM, I'm not feeling overly bloated. My back is hurting, but just need to keep walking and drinking that water!

decided what i'm going to do for lunch today. going to safeway and pick up some turkey cold cuts, low fat cheese, veggies (i'm shocked to say that raw zucchinis aren't that bad!), almond breeze unsweetened chocolate, and nuts. thank goodness today was payday!

Monday's efforts and discipline of sticking to the eating plan and fighting the temptations of Valentines Day sweets have really paid off. Down 1.5 lbs from yesterday! Just 1 lb away from last week's check-in before the weekend started and I totally blew off my eating and ended up gaining back all the hard work I did all last week.
I'm still doing low carb. Picked up a mini crustless quiche for breakfast; and still figuring out what i'll have for lunch. I'm definitely planning to go to the farmers market or the grocery store to pick up some fruit. Can't do chocolate or cookies to calm my sweet tooth; now it has to be fruit.
Also last night, I was only planning to do a 30min workout (Jillian Michael's Boost Metabolism); but when I was done with that, I had enough energy to do Debbie Siebers' Cardio Core Express. Boy, was I sweatin'!! I felt a little sick afterwards, but allowed myself plenty of time post-stretch to get my heart rate down and to ground myself. For this evening though, not sure if i'll do 30min or an hour...let's see how I feel.

not sure if it's from significant drop in carb intake or stress, or a combination of both, but i'm feeling so out-of-it today. ate some tangerines and cheesecake without the crust. feeling a little bit better. need to keep reminding myself that this diet that i'm on is not about having no carbs, but having only healthy ones. no breads, pasta, and sweets. gotta keep thinking that i'm not deprived of sweets because fruits are nature's candy!! (how cheesy does that sound?)
