Yesterday my weight shot up but I weighed today and weighed 3 lbs less. I am addicted to the scale. I keep telling myself to weigh once a day or less. I only record morning weigh ins but weigh lots during the day. I don't know why I do it. As I recorded earlier, I am coming off pain medication that has been prescribed for more than 2 years and it's causing some pain. Of course it is. I made the decision to try to manage the pain with holistic medicine so I could be healthier and feel better so I shouldn't complain but - well I can't really describe it. Even though I take it like prescribed, my body has become dependent on it. I will have pains and have to manage them but it will be worth it. Anyway, not so hungry today but still can't sleep. Stayed up until 7 am then slept until 10 am.

I am REALLY hungry today. I ate breakfast late because I take SAM-E vitamins and you take them on an empty stomach and I take them right after I wake up then eat 30 min. later. Today I didn't take them right away and then I had to wait to eat and I forgot that I didn't eat until I had been up for about 2 and a half hours. I guess it threw me off. I am having an apple that I microwaved with some cinnamon and nutrasweet. I am an insomniac and it messes with my food schedule. I was up at 3 a.m. and was soo starving so I ate half a serving of nutrisystem cereal and added it today's total. My sleep prob is a real prob. I don't like sleeping pills because they make me tired all day and I tried melatonin and it helps me to drift off but I always jolt awake 30 minutes later. I am a light sleeper too. I thought the exercise would help me sleep better but no luck. My daughter is back home after a Father's Day sleepover with her dad so we are going to play outside a bit. It is so hot again and of course will be for the next few months so I try to take her out later in the afternoon. She gets so overheated so quickly. I only give her water to drink but she seems to get nearly dehydrated. She is 3 and has shoulder length hair and she hates having it pulled up so in 5 minutes she is drenched in sweat. I have a little plastic pool she can soak in though. Okay I guess we're heading outside.

Today wasn't so hard. I was craving something sweet and was going to bake an apple but didn't need it after all. I rode the bike for 45 minutes and that was about it. Cooked and did a little housework. Now I am resting and watching True Blood. Everyone on it are tiny muscular little people.

I took my daughter to two different parks today. At 8 pm it was 93*. I don't know how hot it was while we were there but we were both drenched.

Okay i just rode 40 minutes on my stationary bike. I told my dad and instead of saying that's great he said "Remember that song Old Gray Mare aint what she use to be? You're not young anymore so you can't exerise like you used to." Instead of being happy and excited about my exercise, I was mad and -just really mad. I know he doesn't mean anything by it but WHY?
