Avoiding the scale. Thinking numbers can't be good and the scale can wait :)
This past weekend was great. Got to spend time with GC 2 and 5 year olds at DD and at ballgames of the 10 year old and l3 year old. It still astonishes me how fast 2 year old legs can run! Little man was all over the place. Got lots of leg work in trying to keep up. Ball games were all day Saturday with temperatures in the 70s. Beautiful day! So much fun. Ball game food, yum! Not so good for the WOE.
Didn't do as bad as I used to but still... Had avoided my diet coke for months but had that too. When I logged in food I was still good with overall numbers but carbs were a bit much. My numbers for the month are great. Working on the water retention now. Not stressing. I know what I have to do and it will get done.

Diligence, determination, patience, IF and modified keto seems to be working for me up to this point. I still don't meet the 78 grams most of the time for protein suggested by the keto calculator but its all good. Moderate protein is working just as well for me for now. I see no point in eating more food than I want to eat. The fat gram intake takes care of hunger issues evidently. I do stay under my calorie ceiling.
I've lost 20.5 inches overall since January 2018 and wearing a smaller size with room to spare. Pumped up to lose more!

Moving on down, feeling good about my progress. Had a few NSVs this week. Young lady was selling donuts for her school, bought them for the family because I am a supporter and took them directly to DD. Her sons play ball so they can run off those calories. Good deed, good feeling. Last year when I bought donuts from her I ate two of them before taking the rest to DD. Clothes are a looser. Got a couple of smaller size things. Can wear my rings on different fingers. Small stuff but still motivators.
Did my IF and LC all week, worked with my weights five days. I usually do the seven days but after reading an article on MSN health I decided to have two days rest from them. Not that I ever overworked on them!
Beautiful day, might just get some deck time in while soaking up a bit of vitamin D!
Have a great weekend everyone!!

Reasonably well considering eating out with DD and DS on trips to the hospital for new baby, watching GC on some days, Easter, and birthday celebrations for family. Good family time and worth every bit of the time spent. I did pick the healthier options for the most part. Just worked a little harder after all that. Still kept under my "ceiling" which is close to a miracle for me :) Did a bit of IF. Moving down is always a great motivator for me.

Good news...6th GC born today!! She was scheduled for April 4th but DnL has been very sick with a virus, has been in the hospital for a few days on IVs because she couldn't keep anything down, including liquids. Doctors decided to do C section early. Baby is a bit over 7 lbs, normal size baby. Baby did swallow some fluid that doctors are trying to remove. Other than that all seems to be okay. Today is also her daddy's birthday. This is his third child. He is a great dad. Doesn't mind doing any of the duties child rearing requires. You can tell I'm very, very proud of all my children.
WOE wise good day for me. Very easy to keep the sugars and carbs under control. I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes, but with pre-diabetes. I understand it would be very easy to cross that line into being a diabetic so I do pay attention to those grams. Today is also the anniversary day my oldest brother passed. Complications from diabetes, heart failure.
Snow was beautiful today. Tomorrow supposed to be around 45 degrees so snow will turn into a sloppy mess before it goes away. Love Virginia!!
