My morning ketones was .1 that is lower than the recommended .5 to 5 which indicates nutritional ketosis. Given the severe restriction in carbs. I am surprise but it is a "fasting" blood ketones/ So I will retake it in the middle of the day.

Just got the results of my lipid panel and they are excellent
Triglyceride 71 (optimal <100)
Cholesterol, Total 144 (normal <200)
HDL Cholesterol 66 (good >60)
LDL Cholesterol 64 (optimal < 70 if heart disease)
VLDL Cholesterol 14 (Optimal 0-30)
Yea!!!
This is the best its been in a long time and all occurred after I went on a high fat (medium chain triglyceride) diet.

My blood ketones was .4/urine ketones trace.
Blood glucose was 91 (bedtime) and 106 (this AM).
No Insulin today.

I have to remember to increase my sodium intake to about 2300 mg. I am getting symptoms from too little sodium. I think I will add a 4 ounce pork sausage to my daily intake which would provide me with about 700 mg of sodium
