I made it!!! 50 plus a couple of minutes on the elliptical this morning and my legs were burning.
I often think of the other FS members when i'm pushing through the pain of my workouts. You all are motivators, even when you don't know it.
Sweetie comes home today at 3pm and I'm so glad. She is such a great partner to have around. We try and eat/exercise healthly together and it makes life so much easier. Plus she is fun to kiss on.
Hope everyone has a great Hump day and keeps their nose or but to the grind stone.

Well this has not been an easy start to my workout week.
Again did not want to get up and do my spin bike routine. Even half-way through my workout, when I'm usually doing pretty well, I wandered to myself "Why am I doing this? It hurts"
But I pushed through and did my 50 minutes and was able to keep my heart rate above 130. Lets see how tomorrow goes on the elliptical.
Good news is.......my sweetie comes back tomorrow at 3pm and i won't have to be the only one messing with the kids. They wear me out. No one wants to pitch in and do dishes, laundry, food, floors, etc. Then when I bring it up, i'm the bad guy.
Oh well. Wish me energy and passion for tomorrows workout, hopefully i won't need it.
Everyone else out there in FS world, keep your head up and keep on keepin on.

This morning was no so easy to get out of bed. I must admit, it felt really good after the 50 minutes of recumbant biking was done, but going into it at 5am, i wasn't so sure.
Well glad that I did it and now have a great attitude toward the rest of the day.
Two more days till wifey comes home. The kids are wearing me out. They know they can break me down and they just keep coming at me.
Planning a b-day bash for my sweetie this Saturday at our neighborhood pool. Her favorite food is pizza, so I will get her one plus a trip to the Nail salon for 1.5 hour pedicure/manicure/massage.
Hope you all have a great week. I'll keep pushing if you do!!!!!!!!!

OK. So here is confession time. I know,
I know, it is not a big deal, but you know as I do, that when you don't plan on a treat and you have one. It kind of feels OFF, just not right.
I had the calories and the exercise to back up the treat but still......
I didn't plan on it so it still feels OFF.
I had a big ice cream. Kemps Non fat, no sugar added frozen yogurt. It was yummy and I ate more than I should have but not more than I would have if I had went to my favorite "CULVERS".
Oh well.....Good workout this morning 50 mins on elliptical at 135 bpm so burned more than half of the ice cream off and had the extra from yesterday. ALL is GOOD.
Hope everyone has a great end to their weekend. and a great start to their monday, tomorrow

Hello FS buddies.
Saturday Morning and it feels pretty good. Kids are fed, I made scrambled egg sandwiches (pannini style) for them with whole gran bread, and a cinnamon roll, and milk.
For me I'm doing my favorite egg white bake (35grams) and some josephs flatbread tortillas. I put hot sauce on the eggs and then put dollups of the eggs on my oven crisp tortillas. Yummy, and filling, with 300 calories and lots of protein. I like the extra protein since I do some weight training most of the week. Also think it keeps the cortisol lower which is supposed to help the body keep muscle mass. Which at 44 I need all the muscle I can.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be running the kids around, looking for b-day presents for Wifey (Who turns 40 next week) and my big project for me............
I need to find a pad for my spin bike handlebars. Does anyone know of where I can find a soft pad for my Nordic-Track Spin bike handlebars??
Talk to you later.
