Forgot to weigh in today. I wish I wouldve remembered because I had McDs for lunch, but a pretty sensible dinner and I was curious what today would bring. Ah well. No biggie. I also struggled to keep my snacking down so maybe it wouldnt have been decent anyway.
I did go to the gym last night. Ive been pushing myself, but not doing things that will mess up my shoulder so- I did bosu burpees (slowly and controlled), but I didnt do the shoulder taps- I just planked instead. Same with the death crawls - instead of those, I did chest flys with a lighter weight in my right hand. Since Ive been slacking on the working out, stepping back on the weight is a good idea anyway. I hate using the 35# ball for ball slams though. I really want to move up, but the motion of lifting the heavier ball gives me a tweak so Ill hold off and work on form instead.
Todays goals:
Gym tonight
Log food and eat the dang salad I brought for lunch
Find something to help my focus (I need something in the background and books and music arent doing it for me today)
Log FOOOOOOOD
Drink water

Yesterday was a rough one. I had to run an errand on lunch and totally forgot I had a meeting right after. It was an interactive discussion so I decided to forgo my salad and snack on some pretzels and nuts instead. I dont know if that is wny, but I just was so hungry and unsatisfied all day. I definitely went over my goal, and Ill have to go back and look, but I dont think I tracked everything.
There were a couple of good things yesterday though - I did my 55 squats for Squatober, and I had a call with my old coworkers last night. I miss working with them. Unfortunately, I dont think that job is coming back anytime soon.
Todays goals are:
Log food and be mindful
Gym tonight
Squats
Water
I brought my workout clothes to work so I wont be tempted to not go. Since my gym moved locations, I can easily go home, change, and get there on time. But its also easy to get home, sit down, accidently become one with the chair, and just not go. So Im going back old school to try to get back in the habit of doing whats necessary for me to be healthy.

I was feeling pretty down yesterday about gaining 20 pounds over the year. Last year at this time, I was at my lowest weight since I started really trying. I was talking about it to my coach at the gym and she said that I could easily get back there - this year - by losing 2 pounds a week for the rest of the year. 2 pounds is pretty reasonable, and Ill have a jump on it when the rest of this water weight comes off. All in all, yesterday wasnt that bad.
I paid attention to what I ate.
I logged it all.
I went to the gym and KILLED IT.
But I didnt drink nearly enough water and I feel like poo today. Also, my body is already sore and it hasnt even been 24 hours so Ill be feeling some major DOMS later.
My goals today:
Dont be an a-hole about food, and log it all
For the love of God - DRINK SOME WATER
Lunch time yoga

Welp there it is. I suck. Realistically though, I know I didnt gain 4 pounds over the weekend, so it will be nice to see a drop soon, and then to use that as momentum.
Goals:
1. MUST KICK THIS GRAZING HABIT
2. Drink more water - seriously
3. Log it all
4. Maybe try to get in some protein
5. Eat a damn vegetable
6. Gym Gym Gym Gym Gym
