No change from Friday.
My goals on Friday were to:
1. Track over the weekend - Fail!😂
2. Hit my step goal - Kinda passed, didnt hit on Friday but def did on Sat & Sun.
3. Have deep dish pizza - PASSED! And it was goooooooood!
I spent the weekend deep cleaning, again. Except this time it was my own house. I wish I could say I got the whole house done but really all I did was clean the carpet. I have a white German Shephard so I had to de-shed the carpet first 😂.
I took the dogs on my weekly drive to pick up my food prep in a small town a few miles away. Theres a little "nature trail" that Ive always wanted to check out so we stopped and walked it.
Looking forward to this week. My goals are:
1. Track Everything - no food left untracked!
2. Prelog food at least 2 times this week
3. Hit step goal at least 3 times (this will be challenging as its supposed to rain most of the week).
4. Track water for 5 days.
5. Dust off that planner and put it to good use!

Up a little today but thats from Beer.
I enjoyed my night out with coworkers and had several drinks. I was planning on getting this steak sandwich and sweet potato fries but there were apps on the table when I got there so.... I tried to keep it to a minimum then I ordered my sando and fries before I left. I ate the fries there while we finished our drinks and then my kid ended up eating half of my sandwich. It was very good and a bit spicy so I was surprised that she finished it off. Anyway, staying the course today and planning some deep dish pizza this weekend.
Shoulder watch 2020: Status- Feels not right. Another massage is in works to help with back issues, then will give it a week or so and contact Dr.
Goals - Still logging although not perfectly. Will continue to do so - Even over the weekend which I am notoriously bad at doing. Unofficially, Ive been trying to hit my step goal which Ive only done twice this week, but 4 times in the last 7 days. Ill be making an effort to get those steps in!

Forgot to weigh in yesterday, and then they day got away and I never posted a journal entry.
I did go to the gym last night, and only minor discomfort with my shoulder. I dropped my weight down so I was using a 12.5 dumbell instead of the kettlebell I originally grabbed for the various exercises - and it was fine. I was able to control it better and still feel like I was working, even though thats pretty light for me. I have to get over that notion that I have to have heavier weights to get a good workout because I use it as an "all or nothing" and end up not doing anything.
Anyway, I kept it pretty low cal wise during the day yesterday. I had leftover lo-mein for dinner which was just ok. Trying to keep it low today because were going to a local bar after work for drinks and whatever else. I like this place so Ill have to look at the menu ahead of time and try to plan so I can feel included, but not be an a-hole to myself.
My goal for this week has been to watch my food intake and track and so far Im doing alright. Its not 100% but its a whole hell of a lot better than the 0% I was doing before.

I forgot to weigh in yesterday but I did log most of my food. I didnt log anything over the weekend though. I got through both of my rowing fundraisers, although I rowed way more on Saturday than on Friday. My triceps are still sore from using the Ski Erg machine! After rowing both days, I helped a friend out by cleaning this huge house that was hitting the market. Oy.
I hit 10k steps, 3 days in a row over the weekend. I wanted to at least hit my step goal yesterday but I let things get in the way. More remote learning problems, and just general depression and loneliness when I got home. A walk wouldve helped but I couldnt pull myself out to do it. I did get in a quick workout at work - they filmed a short benchmark workout for our target group and I jumped in.
My focus this week is logging food. I will also go back to the gym, but I really want to focus on what Im eating. Progress over perfection.

I realized this week, that my biggest problem with weight loss, accountability, nutrition, and consistency, is that when something get tough - I give in. The past two weeks have been very stressful due to lay offs at work and remote learning but I thought Id jump back in with no excuses this week.
And then I came home Tuesday to my kitty who had to be rushed to the vet. My companion of 17 years passed away yesterday and Ive been struggling.
I felt sorry for myself yesterday, and did not eat well. And while I believe that its ok to give yourself a break when bad things happen, I also know that I cant let that break go on. So Im back on today.
