i find that it is easy to think about cheats when u are losing weight. Because you think the weight is coming off so you figure you can stray once or twice. This week, no cheating. I am strong & focused. I will get my workouts in, & I will get one step closer to my goal.

I want to start a recipe book for use in the house. Something I can fill with healthier options that would be great to share with friends & family. I dont want to be at the mercy of food my whole life. I look forward to changing my habits, and becoming better in the process. I'm so excited to be starting this new hobby.. Oh before I forget, I am working to becoming adventist, which is going to eliminate alcohol, pork, shrimp & lobster to name a few from my diet. I definitely have to come up with new ways to eat...

Did anyone else catch Dr. Oz's 100th episode featuring 100 people who lost 100lbs or more? TALK ABOUT MOTIVATION!! I powered through a 5k this morning, I felt so good. The scale might not be good to me on Friday because I ate so much chocolate on V-day on my skype-date with my baby, but that's ok. im in it for the long haul...

So, I did my morning work-out.. 1hr on the treadmill at 3.0 speed. 0.5 incline. I was feeling so defeated after this weekend, but I promised myself I am going to make 2010 the year that I change my life. I will keep the momentum going. I've had bad eating habits for the past 10years. Looks like its gonna take more than 6 months for my body to start showing consistent drops on the scale. That's ok, i'm ready & im right here.. Not goin anywhere...
