The journey to lose weight is so difficult. I see now why so many people give up. You work so hard, and the scale does not show results. You push so much, and yet when u get on that almighty scale, you have no reason to celebrate.My lesson this week is that fat cells have memory, and it is going to take a long time for your body to start voluntarily letting go of the weight. I hope I get my break soon. I dont want to give up, but I need some encouragement. I see other people lose 100+lbs and I think wow. If they can do it, I can do it too... I just need to believe, and keep pushing. Comparing yourself to other people can dishearten sometimes, but its more for encouragement than anything else...

What am I celebrating today? I waved goodbye to the 250s. Never again to return. I bid farewell to the 240s. It took a while, but I did it. So long 230s it was fun, but I can't stay. I feel more empowered than ever. my 1hr treadmill this morning was so hard, but I just kept putting 1 foot in front of the other & before I knew it... I had made progress. The workout was over, and I was feeling great! Ready for 1 more hour after work.

i like what I see in the mirror. I can finally see my body starting to change. Slow & steady wins the race. I hope everything stays on course. To think by christmas I will be under 200? that just thrills me to no end. I am now enjoying the feeling that comes with knowing that I am taking good care of my body. I look forward to being a great mom & wife when the time comes.

Working out was a bit of a drag this morning, but I did it... 45mins in the treadmill at 1.5 incline. Why is it lately that I am feeling my arms getting so tight yet all ive been doing is walking?
