I'm feeling a little discouraged. I've gotten into what might be a bad habbit of weighing myself each night before I go to bed and each morning once I wake up. The ups and downs are begining to have an effect on my attitude toward reaching my goal. I've had such swift weightloss the first 2-3 weeks and looking in the mirror it's difficult to see a change in the shape of my body or even in the way my clothing are fitting. I probably need to increase my movement more instead of just relying on the calorie counting.

Last night my hubby and I took our 3 year old to dinner. We decided we would walk to the Subway Restaurant a ways down the street. Turns out it wasn't too bad. It was a mile and a half with a bgreak in between to eat at the restaurant. We had a good time. We also happened to run into my kidney doctor and her family. Thank goodness it was Subway instead of McDonalds! :o)

So my hubby has decided I'm serious about losing weight this time around and has not only been super supportive (making dinner and such) but has joined my quest for a healthier lifestyle! He's already lost 20 lbs!! Of course, he's 6'4" and started at 269lbs so he's not got a whole bunch of weight to lose in the first place.
I've really been enjoying this calorie tracker as well as the community and challenges that come with it. I'm not really able to see much of a transformation with my body yet (of course it has only been 16 lbs so far) but I'm looking forward to my newer body already!
