I got a new scale, which is hopefully more accurate than my old one. I realize any change in weight is probably due to this, as I have been working really hard. I am still doing my mile every week, I did 6000 feet last week and am starting again today. I found a solution to snacking at work, in the form of 100 calorie packs. That gives me something to munch on that isn't terrible for me. I also signed up for two more challenges! I am addicted to doing the challenges as they seem to provide enough encouragement for me to go out and do things for myself. I have noticed a change in my body lately, it looks less flabby...

Snacking at work is a big problem for me. I will have to try extra hard this week to not do that! I am loving the swimming still. I did 35 laps yesterday (2100 ft) 10 laps today (600 ft, on account of lightning) and its getting easier all the time!

I did another 30 laps today! My mile is done! I've had lunch out the past couple days = not good for diet. But I'm back on the ball tomorrow!

I did 20 laps tues (1200 ft), 30 laps Weds (1800 ft), and 25 laps today (1500 ft), which is 4500 out of my 5280 ft for the week. I am wiped. This swimming stuff is no joke. Tomorrow I am going to give myself a chance to recoup and I will do the remainder of my laps (only 13 left) Saturday! I did get a little sunburnt on Weds so I need to remember to sunscreen. I will probably swim Sunday too (Its my day off!) but by the time I did my swimming yesterday and then went to work by the time I got off I was exhausted. Fortunately this is a 12 week challenge so I have plenty of time to get in shape :)

I went kind of crazy on the food yesterday but I guess I had an overall good week! Swimming is fun and I've been making time for it in the morning, which is a big deal for me! Yesterday I swam 20 laps in our pool which is about 60ft long. (1200 of 5280 ft for the week!) Delany has also been getting quick walks in the morning but she cant take much of the hot Florida sun! All this keeping track of what I'm eating and doing is really helpful for me! I went to Taco Bell last night and made some tough (but necessary) decisions based on how many calories I had left!
