Day 16 and I feel great. I may have only lost a couple pounds and I don't see any difference yet, but I feel so much better, physically and mentally. This is the first time in a long time that I have been eating healthy and when I have down time I am actually going on walks and hikes and getting out of the house. I am no longer so obsessed with what are we gonna eat? where do you want to go for dinner? I keep myself to a point where I am not starving so I don't have to focus on food all the time. I have completely cut out the foods that I love and would normally eat most importantly bread. I miss it at times but it's not what I sit around and focus on anymore. I just feel really good today. I hope the best for everyone, especially the ones feeling not so great right now, keep on going everyone, this is a healthier life that we have chosen to live...

Well, I got a new scale and I weighed in at 140lbs. Not quite sure if I really lost 6 lbs or not as my first weigh in was on a different scale but I am going with it and will only weigh in on this scale from now on. I feel really good, I am now in Phase 2 and have added in some chicken. I find myself not even eating all that is allowed. I really exercised over the weekend too, a lot of walking and 2 days of hiking. I hope that I will continue to lose weight I know that I have to keep the cardio in there of I will stay where I am at. Can't wait to start feeling a difference in my clothes, thats really what I am rooting for, I'm almost ready to say forget the stupid scale. Hope everyone did good over the weekend.

So today is Day 10, Day 1 of Phase 2 for me. I weighed in this morning and can't really give an accurate reading, I guess my scale is not working right. It's brand new too, I guess I will return for another one and then do my official weigh in tomorrow. I first weighed in at 137 which would be great as I started at 146, but I would notice a 9lb weight loss on my frame and I don't. Then after my shower, I still hadn't eaten or anything I got on it again and it said 142. How could there be a 5lb difference in like 30 mins? Anyways, a little discouraged but I will start my phase 2 and add a little meat in. I am happy that I stuck through it this long. Have people lost weight in Phase 2? I really have to get the exercise part in there but I have been eating so good. Oh well, I will try a new scale and do an official weigh in tomorrow. Today is Day 9 of my detox, tomorrow I weigh in and then start Phase 2. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I at least lost something. I am not going to get my hopes up too high I just need it for motivation to continue. It hasn't been too hard. I am getting really tired of salad though. It's the easiest thing for me to eat at work for lunch. I know I mentioned before that I run my own business and I don't get a lunch hour or much time to sit down for that matter. I am excited that I made it this far, my boyfriend quit on me. I have to stick with it though I really want to reach my goal and thats what I have to keep telling myself. I can do it!!!
