Feeling really good after three days of healthy eating. My knees aren't bothering me and the bloating has subsided. I'm getting to bed around the same time each night to avoid the late night snacking and just today I added some exercise. I took the dogs for a walk and than walked myself afterwards. It felt good to move in the brisk, sunny winter weather. Look forward to my first weigh in on Friday.

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday was my first day on plan and this morning I found my toes hitting the floor at 6 a.m., which is amazing for me since lately I couldn't get motivated to be up early without an alarm and appointment to be somewhere. My knees didn't hurt and my back wasn't quite as bad either. I attribute this to several hours of hard cleaning and countless trips up and down the basement stairs. The treadmill is on the agenda today!

I weighed myself today, which is the first day of my war against fat and found that I actually weigh (according to my fancy digital scale) 211.8, not 216 as previously recorded. I used the 216 weight because on Tuesday that is what I weighed in at the doctor's office. However, when at the doctor's office I was wearing jeans, snow boots and sweater. Today=naked :-) Soooo, today is the FIRST day of this journey at the weight entered today. My steel oats are currently boiling so gotta run for now....

The beginning of the end....end of being unhealthy! My knees hurt, my back hurts, my pride hurts. The fabulous clothes in my closet heckle me from the corner in which I've pushed them. There are many reasons to get healthy but I must focus on my number one reason -- cancer recurrence. The beginning of the end.....
