I took a much needed break of two days off from exercise. I'm posting this as a promise to myself to exercise each day beginning today through Thursday.

Very proud of myself today! I met a group for lunch at Lou Malnati's pizzeria and when I got there they had ordered apps: fried zucchini and hot wings. I declined both. I also declined to order pizza and went with a traditional salad and asked to have chicken added and used a red wine vinegarette dressing. To be honest, I felt bad for the battered, deeply fried zucchini. The wings? Well they just looked greasy and as for the pizza....I can make my own verzion of pizza and be satisfied. I today off as a "rest" day from exercise and will be back at it tomorrow.

Four days of itense workouts and my body is so sore. Maybe just a session of stretching and breathing today......ugh.

Day four of exercise and logged a loss of 740 calories per my Polar watch and monitor. I'm so fired up to be able to actually "see" the progress and know that I in fact have control. It's no surprise that I'm sleeping much better and have more energy. This may not sound like much to some of you out here but for me it's a big deal considering I finished cancer treatment in July and haven't been able to get as physical with exercise as I have this week.

Okay now that I'm full force with this, I have changed my RDI from 2200 to 1400 so I'll see how that goes!
