My daughter gave me some jerky: BBQ pork, lime beef...love this stuff. Eat it in lieu of something sweet. Seems to help. Am working on drinking more water!!

It's been a week of upheaval affecting what I eat & when I eat. Am encouraged by my daughter's efforts (19 lbs)so I will now try harder as I'm up 2 lbs. Having left the South for the North, the cold now seems to feed my appetite. Not yet in a cycle of exercise as house repair/contractors are what occupy my mind. Hope to get back to a normal routine soon, and back on track with my goals. Am hopeful...

Really liking pickleball. Am burning up the calories. Tomorrow walking the golf course - I really need to move more. 10 lbs to go...so why am I so stuck??!!! I think it's the wine. Honestly.
