Walked 4.5 to 5 miles at a fast pace, many steeeeep hills. Im going to be very sore, am already feeling it. But oh it feels good.
My diet on the other hand needs to get back on track.
I have not weighed myself for a week so we will see what the morning brings.

I must be PMSing because the cravings to eat sweets just got the best of me today. You would not believe the junk I ate.
a couple of homemade apple cheddar scones, not sweet ones but still.
a pc of monkey bread. delicious I must say but oh so naughty.
skittles, a cookie. I mean the list goes on. I can't even record what I ate because Im sure I would leave something out. Im such a pig! UGH!

I'm bummed. We had a busy weekend with family in and out, bringing all kinds of fattening foods. I refused to fall into the temptations of all of the sweets, so I didn't eat any and still watched my portions.
I did increase my calories, still eating way too many carbs...ugh, however not the worst foods I could have eaten, believe me. Yet when I got on the scale Monday morning, Im up 2.5 lbs, today I was down 1.5 of it but wondering what in the world is going on?
Too many carbs can do that? Sodium? Not enough water? fiber? All of the above?
I don't want to become discouraged. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts. ;)

I know I shouldn't weigh myself everyday but I can't help it. lol.
I was so excited and surprised when I looked down at the scale this morning and I was down another 1.5 Lbs Woo Hoo!
This is what keeps me going. I know it won't always come off this fast but counting calories really does work. Yeah!

I know I am probably not eating enough cals for the day these past few days but I am working on being more aware of actual hunger vs emotional hunger.
Just a bit ago I was feeling very hungry so just ate a banana and I know its still not enough but for now I want to see how long that will hold me off and drink some water or calorie free drink.
I need to work on drinking more water, I know the diet drinks are not good for you so try not to drink those. I am also taking miracle burn with hoodia and I have noticed less of an appetite, which for now is what I need.
