Grandma's rice pudding is surely a family favorite.
Ingredients
Directions
- Cook rice.
- Beat eggs, add sugar to taste, and vanilla. Add scalded milk.
- Put a tablespoon of margarine (or butter)into casserole, melt in oven.
- Pour in rice and egg mixture. Should be quite soupy.
- Add second tablespoon of margarine, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mix.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until knife comes out clean.
- Serve with a little milk and additional cinnamon/sugar mix if needed.
