newagegirl's Journal, 30 Apr 10

After losing all that weight last year, then hitting a never-ending-plateau and getting pissed off enough to say 'screw it' (for the most part, but not completely), I got on the scale today and realized I've gained back 20 pounds. SHIT! Talk about encouragement to get back on that horse!

So I'm starting again tomorrow...

This afternoon I weighed myself (though I was scared, I did it... I knew it would inspire me to work harder, and I was right.) ....at about 12:30 PM, wearing only my undies and bra. Right after a salad and 1.5 POTS of coffee.... I'll weigh in again in a few days, same time, wearing the same thing, and see what happens. Hopefully I don't end up having to break the f***ing scale.
95.9 kg Lost so far: 2.0 kg.    Still to go: 7.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Don't see Atkins as a weight loss program because it's not. It is a healthy way of eating for life. If you don't have the new book, I recommend that you do. I have done this Atkins several times just to gain it all back. I know where you are coming from. You can do this.

I know, it IS a way of life. And I thought I'd never go back to my 'old' way of life... but I slipped. I'm hoping to find some encouragement here, though, and so far so good. Thanks for the post :)
