I have been failing miserable. i havent recorded any of my meals in weeks. I thought i was doing really well with my food, but I gained 2 or 3 pounds in a week. A week I was eating tons of vegetables and fruit.. someone says its water weight. I feel like thats just an excuse to make me feel better about it. My clothes are starting to not fit so well. Im back to pretty much the heaviest Ive ever been. Way to go huh? for the beginning of 'swimsuit season'. I havent owned a swimsuit in years. And with good reason. But seriously, I have weddings to attend this summer/fall and burning man! I need to look good in less clothing(lol). *sigh* June 1st, clean slate...

I feel your pain--been there, done that--but don't wait till June 1. Each meal, let alone every day/week/month, is a chance to do it right. I fall into the trap of thinking "I'll start tomorrow (or Monday)" but when I see what my thin friends do, it's never like that for them. If they eat a lot at one meal, then they're back to eating normally the next--they don't drag it out for the whole weekend. My biggest desire in this whole process is to be consistent. If I blow it one meal (or even a whole week), I know that I can just do it right with the next meal. It's never too late. Go for it now!

I believe you can get back on track! This has been my start over too after not working out for a year and then recovering from mono, I'm the heaviest I've ever been too. Look at your life goals like growing old and being healthy, being active with kids or grandkids someday. You're doing this for yourself, so don't cheat yourself! You can do it! If you're needing more encouragement, I'm here for you! =]
