Well, today is my 2nd day back on track. I'm trying very hard to leave any negative words out of my vocabulary.
Yesterday, I had to put my beautiful, sweet, shy, cat down after 15 1/2 yrs. I thought it would be a good idea to sit at home, cry, drink wine, and feel sad, but through the grace of God, my phone rang and a friend reminded me about the rally for Barack O'Bama. I went to the rally and found myself smiling and happy to be among other people and the chance to listen to Mr. O'Bama speak.
I must admit that I didn't think of the wine at all after I made up my mind to get out of the house. This was a big stepping stone for me.

I haven't been trying real hard. I guess the fact that I'm working two jobs right now helps. I don't have much time to think about food; however, I haven't made the time to plan ahead.

I have not weighed in since Oct. 25th, so I didn't expect to only gain one (1) lb. I'm pleasantly surprised since I haven't been sticking very well to the plan. I had promised myself yesterday that I would get back on tract. I know I can do this.

Well, I spent the entire day yesterday drinking, eating, drinking, eating...everything way out of control. My husband & I went to a college football game with another couple. I should have brought my own food (i'm still vulnerable). My friend is a fabulous cook, but everything contained pasta, breads, sweets, etc. We then went over to my friend's house for dinner, which was pretty healthy, but the banana's foster was way too much!
I am going to spend my day preparing for my week. I have to stay busy. The wine at night is still my biggest problem. I am also a smoker, which I'm trying to stop (not aggressively), again!! The weather is getting cold and I don't like smoking outside in 30 degrees.
I have not worked out in over 7 weeks due to a head injury that I received by falling in a tub. I'm scared to get started this week.
I don't want to "start over", AGAIN!!!!

I did really well for the first couple of days, but this week was my Birthday, so I allowed myself to enjoy some ice cream and wine. However, a couple of glasses of wine in the evening are my true downfall. I've been able to stick to my plan during the day if I make my snacks and lunch before I leave the house.
I found that I was not hungry if I ate all my meals. The good thing is that I actually knew when I was hungry(grrrrrrrrr).
I'm going grocery shopping for the weekend. I need to make sure I have plenty of my foods on hand.
