Okay so this week I’m focusing on getting back to counting macros. I’m going to try this time though putting in the food before I eat, so I can see amounts and calories before and adjust my serving as I need to. I’m traditionally a big serving kind of girl I equal my partner and this just can’t be the case anymore, I’m eating well yes, but eating too much... for the sake of it, typically keto and LCHF believes eat when you’re hungry, but I find myself eating just to change my mouth feel, you know... keto breath ain’t the best. So I’m going to look for an alternative, apparently chewing on a parsley leaf helps the breathe, maybe I’ll try it. I’ve started to introduce more active weekend activities, just lightly, walking... and easy bike ride etc.

I’m a bit unsure how I’m going to go in 2 weeks, I’m at a conference for 5 days in Sydney, and staying in a Hotel, so eating out pretty much all the time, I’ve put in a dietary request for Low Carb/Low Sugar at the conference for lunch but I know I’m pushing it because its not like a medical need (like Gluten) and most people won’t know what to even serve, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I understand this diet well, I’ve been a part of dozens of facebook groups, read at least 3 books on the topic of Low carb High good fats and keto. I believe in it. I know it works. But I’ve had many a slip, and the reality is without the people in your immediate day in and day out life on board, its virtually impossible. My partner has finally joined me on this leg, after seeing results in my energy levels and consistency in mood more then anything. He, like most of the males on this journey drop the bloat weight fast, and see results faster than females. I love this, because I know with consistency I’ll get there too. I’m past the 2 week transition, cravings are down and I’m back to comfortably skipping breakfast (although I am going to flip this in a couple of weeks and skip lunch instead). I know this works, I know its “for me”, but I deeply believe it is for everyone... stay posted, I’m going to hold myself more accountable this time... a total life overhaul. I can’t wait.
