Up a bit today to 208.8.

Yesterday was one of those mid-week cheat days that came on, also known as doing pretty horrible on the diet, lol. It is odd as this usually occurs after work when I am home alone, so maybe something I need to look at. Wife and Daughter were out to dinner, and son was at baseball. I was not unhappy, maybe lonely. I had lots of urges to snack! Maybe the carb monster!!

I have noticed if I bicycle more, I have a need for a mid week splurge on a meal, or a few snacks on Tues/Weds. So I am considering bumping calories from 1500 to 1700/1800 perhaps.

I did not ride my bike last night, it was very windy.

Honestly I just need to try to stick to this program, and keep doing what I am doing. Try not to slip up, etc.

Steady weight today. Which is a good thing. Actually I weighed in lower yesterday so I am up a bit, maybe I had some foresight. XD

Today is my daughters 18th birthday. Wifey is taking her to dinner with several girlfriends. Not somewhere I want to be, for the food, or for several young females talking blah blah blah. Hmmm.

Anyway, i am making a peppermint bark cheesecake for DD this Friday (Cheat Day!) And last night I made the peppermint bark. I always have problems melting chocolate, probably a good thing, since I dont need to me Mr. Candy Man, although it is fun! I sampled a piece or two.

Epic bike ride was called short due to wind, it was really bad, and I was sore. The gods must have been angry, because I had epic bike crash #3 on the way home. Being nice and avoiding pedestrians by leaving sidewalk and returning caused me to fall. I made it back onto the sidewalk A-OK, its just the bike did not! So I hit the ground pretty hard. My forearm has a nice cherry on it, and my elbow is sore as is my right knee.

Anyway, on to today. I have coffee in my system and a strong sense of motivation. Today will be good!

Well Well Well, Finally feeling better and back on track. 207.6 today.

I can live with that, one day at a time!

I just got some carrots to snack on, and getting refocused at work too. Plans only include eating right, and riding my bike hardcore! After work today for 16 miles.

Sometimes this journey gets tough, and honestly if I think about future/past vacations, fighting weight gain, upcoming holidays, beer benders it is real easy to lose focus and get discouraged. That has been happening a lot lately. They used to say "If you have one foot in yesterday, and another on tomorrow, your pissing all over today!" I like that saying.

The holidays are also extreme pressure on our journey. Often, lately, that makes me not so nice to be around. I need to be better at that!

I suppose life is good, even though I hate to admit it, lol!

Well, Did not step on the scale today. I forgot and was in morning routine with water and prep for bike ride. I felt fat and bloated earlier!

Rode 16 miles this morning, a little over an hour. The weather is cloudy but the wind is light, which is great. Lately it has been very windy and that is not good for bike riding. I do it anyway, it is like climbing hills.

Thanksgiving was great. We went to a gathering of expats, mostly Americans. We had 2 fried turkeys and a smoked turkey. We also had ham, and a bajillion sides, appetizers, and deserts. I only had one plate, and a tiny bit of deserts. I just can not eat like I used to. I did however, drink a LOT of beers, lol.

Now the leftovers are hanging around the house, luckily only a few things. The iced pumpkin cookies I made were awesome, and sadly there are many left. Today I will throw them away, rather than have them destroy my diet ALL WEEK!

Off to do much homework, and chores, and maybe some Assassins Creed 3 later.
