Had a great Zumba workout. Going to do that every other day. Gives me a day to recuup. I have to deal with my inner demons and figure out why I always sabatoge myself....Dealing with things one day at a time. Today's goal is to only eat when I am hungry and only eat healthy. Treadmill tonight. Day by day...... the only way I can do this and not allow failure.

Well, once again, I find myself heavier than I have ever been and starting for the 1000th time, a diet.... I have started doing zumba and truly love it, but for one reason or another, seem to always have the BEST excuse to not have time to do it. I am now on blood pressure meds and for the 1st time in my life, saw a picture of what I really look like. I mean, I always see pictures of me, but this time, I REALLY saw myself and cried. How could I have let it get this bad. I have become one of "those" people...... anyways, will stay positive and not set unrealistic goals. Have been doing great with food, just need to get a set schedule with the excersice. Summer is here and to think I have to get a bigger bathing suit or shorts..... back to positive. I am attending zumba tonight and will take it day by day. Please GOD, help me have the will power to do this right this time.

It is just so wonderful to be back here and focused. Last night I did pretty good as I made my favoite meal, chicken cutlets, mashed potatoes and corn. I ate 1/2 of a normal plate and used a small pie plate to try to trick my mind.... it sorta worked, but consistency is what I need right now. Brought fresh carrots/celery/string beans to munch on all day at work. Now that I am not smoking, I seem to need something in my mouth at all times...Does anyone know of a good workout tape? I am over Billy Banks and taebo. Boring....used it too many years now. I love to dance, so something along those lines. Any suggestions I would be greatful for. Will do the treadmill tonight and become friends with it again. Haven't even looked at it for almost 3 months. Need to bond with it again..... Hope everyone has a great skinny thinking day!!!!!My goal (again) is to get past my bad 200 number on the scale. My goal is 2-3 weeks for the 6.5 lbs loss to get over that stoooooopid number (did I mentio again!). Happy day to everyone

omg.... It has been forever since I have had the guts to log on... I have gained back some weight, lost focus, drama, drama drama, but back to realizing that the only one who can change me is me.... Quit smoking after 24 years which only added to the gain. No excuses though, did it to myself and missed being in here with my buddies.... you all are still going so strong, my inspiration to refocus. I have read up on all your journals and do truly realize how much logging in everyday made a difference. Today is the do-over for me... feels good to be "home" again....
