Day 9 and the end of my little mini-vacay. Back to work tomorrow which means doing food prep today. Gotta be prepared with lots of good stuff to bring for breakfast and lunch. Doing really well and not gonna blow it now that I am going back to work.
Next thing I need to work on it getting MOVING. It's so darn hot here that taking walks is out of the question; every day I have a stare-down with elliptical maching sitting in the dinning room. I call it "the beast"...I know I should be using it..and I know I might feel like I am going to die while using it...
So that will be my goal for this week: get on the Beast at least 3 times. I figure even if I only last 2-3 minutes, it's at least 2-3 minutes more than 0 minutes. Like I keep telling my DD, if we can do 2 mins consistently, pretty soon we'll be doing 30 mins...wishful thinking? Maybe...but let's see.

It's Day 8 and my mind tried very hard to convince me that I wanted a bowl of cereal with milk for breakfast! I argued with myself for quite some time. "yes, you can have this just this once" "go ahead, you've been doing so good, give yourself a break" and "no one is looking, just do it"....
I am happy to say that I did NOT give in!! Heck no! Had a beautiful plate of juicy roast beef and some avocado instead! VICTORY!

Hello hello...starting new, starting fresh with this food journaling thing. Been other places and failed at consistancy. Here now, hoping to beat this weight thing once and for all. Off to learn the site....
ROFL, I guess it looks kinda silly that 2 mins sitting there on the elliptical -- but hey, I did it and so it counts! It's 2 mins more real exercise than I did yesterday, so I will take it.
