Weight leveled back out after some stress/emotional eating this week. Ive been to the gym twice and for some reason this week has been tough and my body is tired and sore. Im debating about dropping out tonight because I think my body needs a break.
Of course if I dont go to the gym then Ill be working on my kids room instead. The bright side is that if I can get her room done then Ill have my own space back haha. I really just want to lay down and watch Threes Company reruns.
Im gearing up to lock down my macros starting next week so Ive been looking up some food prep inspo and trying to figure out what my actual goals and needs for the year are. Its so much easier for me to work towards something when I actually know what that something is (aka I need to get my shit together).

Went out last night for my gyms wrap up holiday party and had copious amounts of beer and pizza. Today Im trying to be gentle with myself and feed my body what it needs haha. I definitely could not do that every weekend.
No workout today but I put a coat of paint on the final wall and a half in my kids room. I think one more should do it so Ill be heading back to finish it up in a few. Also trying to do some light chores to keep up, but not make myself want to die. I cant wait to sleep in my freshly made bed. Its always a treat. I busted out the flannel sheets and my favorite comforter. Its going to be hard not to lay down and take a nap but maybe if I get everything else done I can lounge and binge some tv or pinterest.
Didnt do any food prep today so that will be my priority tomorrow. Looking forward to a strong week.

No school today so I was able to brush my teeth AND weigh in this morning haha (reference to my post from yesterday).
A little up today but I know its just water. Its almost TOM, this week has wore me out, and I ate a lot of french bread with my soup last night and it was YUMMY. Ive been doing well maintaining but its time to start cutting back a little. I have two weddings in N Michigan this summer (back to back weekends) and Id like to look (and feel like I look) better.
My shoulder has been messed up again. Last year I had a terrible muscle spasm and couldnt move. I had no idea it could hurt so bad. I also thought I would be able to feel it spasm but it just felt like a brick. Last Friday I had it again but I couldnt tell if it was just a spasm or if I also have a pinched nerve. I could barely move and I stayed medicated and wrapped up pretty much the whole day. Ive been trying to use the roller and be gentle during my workouts. Its been feeling better and Wednesdays workout was a bit more shoulder-centric so I went for it and it was great! But last night it was not great and it definitely felt like a pinched nerve. I could hardly use the 8# dumbbells for some of the moves and had to so something in place of the mountain climbers and push ups. I thought it was better today but Im not so sure now... I cant afford a massage right now and I dont want to mess with getting a chiropractor. Im really not sure whats best but Ill keep using the heating pad, stretching, and Tylenol. Suggestions are welcome!

No weigh in today. Its hard to do when were down a bathroom and I have a 13yr old getting ready at the same time. Some days I feel *lucky* that I got to brush my teeth haha. Anyway, Im aiming for once a week at least right now.
Ive been trying to be mindful with my food since I got off the habit of tracking. It worked well for me over the holidays. There were days when I went overboard, and there were days that I probably came in way under. I thought Id give tracking another go but Im really sucking at it.
I am in my 8th week of hitting the gym 3x a week. Im really proud of this streak because I was SLACKING so hard. Id love to go home after work and sleep but gotta hit the gym. After that I need to paint another coat on the walls in my kids room. She finally got her way and I painted over the pink and purple walls with white. Her room is small though, and theres no place to put her stuff so its all moved over and Ill have to move it all back before I can finish the other two walls. Lots of work to be done. Uhg. On the plus side though - I hit my step goal last night haha.
