Morning! I have been exercising regularly since coming back to Fatsecret - using WiiFit Plus (given to me by one of my children) and it is really quite fun. What i like best is the free jogging and step activities, yoga stretches and balance games. Im not actually burning heaps of calories but i'm sleeping better which is good. Still not really dieting as such, just reducing the quantity of food I eat and trying to be more conscious of triggers to wanting to snack. I'm keen to see if this plan works for gradual weight loss.

Weekly weigh-in showed a loss of 300grams. I'm happy with that because i didn't avoid the scales! Thanks for everyone's comments...I've learnt two things this week in my new journey: a week goes by pretty quickly (well, nothing new really but it's sometimes hard to stay focused) and....I've conquered my fear of the scales! Yay...feeling very positive right now.

I think i'll weigh in once a week - so will get on the scales in 3 days time - i have reduced my portion size and started exercising - will be interesting to see if i have lost anything as i haven't really "started" dieting (on holidays!)

Is weighing yourself once a week the way to go? Or once every 2 weeks?

Rebooting! I read somewhere that to succeed in anything we start by doing something, then doing something today, then doing something everyday. I think I can handle this bit of advice to motivate me to change.
