Hey hey everybody,
I have to admit...I have not been doing well on the whole eating right thing. Yesterday was my first real day back. I ate what I was suppose to so that's a start. I worked my butt off at the fight gym Monday night and I'll be there again tonight. Just imagine a warehouse with no AC and with all the doors shut with a bunch of sweaty men...needless to say, it was hot!!! I had to walk outside a few times so I wouldn't get dizzy. It's funny how when you're in a really hot room, you go outside and it almost seems cool. I live in Houston, and it's anything but cool over here...we're talking 103 degrees outside...don't you just love Houston in the summer!!! Anyway, I feel like I'm getting back in the groove of things. I've gained some weight back, but I don't want to post it. I worked too hard to get it off, so I'm just trying to get back to square one again.

Good morning,
I haven't journaled in a while. I have to say I need some support. I've been exercising like I always do, but I'm having a hard time with the eating part. I'm not going crazy and eating everything in sight, but I'm just snacking on bad things during the day. I have also been lazy about fixing my meals ahead of time, and I think that's what's getting me. I haven't been buying the 100 calorie snacks like I used to...basically, I know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to kick it. I just need some encouragement!!

Hello all!! I just got back from Baton Rouge last night. I sang at my aunt's church yesterday and did well. The guy that does their sound is blind. I'm not trying to be gripey, but why would you have a blind sound guy???? He couldn't get the sound check right, so I couldn't hear myself...it could have been better, but it was ok. It's not like they were paying me to sing. I didn't really stick to any kind of diet b/c we were just running around the whole time just grabbing food when we could. I am back today and I am so ready to work out at the fight gym tonight. I haven't been since last Wednesday b/c we left Friday morning. I'm ready to kick butt again!!

Happy July 1st!! Is it me or is the year just flying by??? I can't believe we're half way through the year already. Where does the time go? So I went to Bally's last night and did the treadmill workout and did a little weight training...then I went to the fight gym and did circuit and more weight training. Needless to say, I was pretty pooped last night when I got home. Today I have voice lessons, but I'll be getting off early all this week so I'll go to Bally's and do weight training and more treadmill. TOM is gone so I don't feel as bloated as I did last week.
Meal Plan:
Breakfast: 1 cup of whole bran flakes and 1 orange
2nd meal: 6 oz. fat free strawberry yogurt and 1 orange
3rd meal: 6 oz. albacore tuna and 1 serving of green beans
4th meal: 1 small veggie burger w/o bun and 1/2 cup brown rice.

Good Monday morning to everyone,
I worked out a lot last week...some days I had 2 workouts...that will be my theme this week. I will go to Bally's first and then on to the fight gym. I've been doing a lot of circuit training mixed with weight training. A friend of mine wrote out a treadmill workout that is awesome!! I'm not really a runner so this is helping me to become a better runner. I'm dripping by the time I'm done. Eating goes great during the week, but I allow myself a day or 2 on the weekends to have something I really want, aka, Mango Margarita and chips and salsa. Love it!!! Anyway, I'm going to be really good this week b/c I have a birthday party and of course the 4th of July. I'm going to let myself have some barbecue now!! :) Hope everyone has a great day!
Here's my meal plan today:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal and 5 strawberries
2nd meal: 6 oz. fat free strawberrry yogurt and 1 orange
3rd meal: 1 large salad with 3 tbsp. fat free ranch dressing
4th meal: 1/2 cup beans, 1/2 cup brown rice and 1 serving veggies
Workout:
45 minutes on treadmill
2 hrs at boxing gym for circuit training
