Still smashing away...it may be my imagination but I do feel like I'm losing flab around the middle...anyway, all will be revealed at my weigh-in in a few days. On day 6 I ate
- Oatmeal
- Brown rice and veggies
- Herbal tea
- Oatmeal cookies
- Oven-roasted chickpeas
- Sweet potato fries
- Mashed cauliflower and mixed veggies
- Low-fat yogurt with fresh strawberries

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I am back on track now and day 5 was great!
- Egg-white omlette with mushrooms, onions and tomatoes
- Herbal tea
- Chicken soup with brown rice and vegetables
- Mashed cauliflower
- Oatmeal cookies (phase 1 recipe at fatsmashforum.com)
- Low-fat fruit yogurt
The recipes on fatsmashforum are great. I think it's hysterical that the most viewed phase 1 recipes are muffins, cookies and pizza -- it's pretty clear what we're all missing, right?!!

Day 4 started off great diet-wise but then ended up a total failure...I won't get into the details of how I messed up so let's just pretend it never happened... The question is - do I start phase one from scratch or do I just keep going? Any advice would be very welcome.

Day 3 -- I'm eating more and more, but luckily only from the foods I'm supposed to:
- Oatmeal with sliced banana
- Fava beans with olive oil and lemon juice
- Mixed salad
- Brown rice with grilled veggies
- More oatmeal with sliced banana -- I actually really like it!
- Unsweetened tomato juice
- Unsweetened orange juice
I'm going to start mixing a few spoons of apple cider vinegar with a squeezed lemon and water and sip it throughout the day too...apparantly it helps with weight loss and is really good for other things like balancing cholesterol levels, fatigue, etc.
