Did you ever have one of those days where you just couldn't stop jamming chocolate into your face? That was today. And yesterday really. Today, in addition to all of my usual food, I had
2 scotcheroos
2 brownies
an oreo
3 andes mints
3 dove milk chocolate miniatures
and, hot carmel apple cider from Biggby, which is in itself 422 calories.
in ONE DAY!!
I'm chalking it up to PMS, and just that I've been sick of dieting lately.
My plan is to go back to sweets only on Sundays. I just can't trust myself to have just one of anything. I always feel like I NEED to indulge myself, like I DESERVE to indulge myself. I know exactly what I'm doing when I'm eating it, and I do it anyway. Than I have another one. When I just say that I can't have any at all, I just have some hot chocolate or tea instead, and then forget all about it.
Today is the end of this chocobinge. I'm going to have a great rest of my week to make up for this awful day!
Oh, and I did "The Shred" level three today (my first time trying Jillian out) since it was raining and I couldn't run, and it was awesome! She really kicked my butt.

I'm pleased. I knew it wouldn't be a great weigh in because I let myself go over Easter weekend. But I was good 4 days out of the week, and I've been very good with my exercise. I'm hoping this small loss will translate to an even bigger loss next week!
P.S. I can't wait for The Biggest Loser tonight!

For the first time since I got serious about my diet, I let myself go. I have family in town, and with the holiday...1600 calories a day seemed next to impossible. So three days in a row over 2000.
On the plus side, I did deny myself a few times, I was more aware of what I was ingesting, and I still wrote down everything I ate. This helped control a little of my usual party grazing. So I know that if I hadn't been faithfully counting calories for the past month, this weekend would have probably been a lot worse. (More like the Christmas season, when I gained at least 5 pounds.)
Still, the first 4 days of the week went well, and my calorie deficit is over 4000 calories, so I'm still hoping for a 1 pound loss tomorrow morning! (but to be honest, I feel like all I deserve is to break even).
