Went to go weigh myself today and was pleased to have lost 2.5 kg in the last week. Probably due to it being early days still. I have increased my activity level and walking more. My goal is to lose 30 kg in the first phase and another 30 kg in the second phase to reach my target weight of 100 kg. So far So good :)

Having always struggled with my weight, the last 4 years I have consistently been gaining around a kilo a month on average. I remember in the past I have lost weight due to exercise and dieting but never fully changed my mindset when it came to food nor exercise. I have realized now that my weight gain is out of control. I have decided that now is the time to take back control. I know it won't be easy as I have to not only change my outer self but also the inner one. I am now also smoke free since the last 2 days. I have decided to tackle smoking as well since the last time I quit I put on a lot of weight. I feel the willpower I have gained so far is helping my weight loss regime. (although I will be journaling only my weight loss) Since landing on this website I have been inspired by the sense of community and spirit and have decided to burn my ships and join. Here goes! The road to success starts here.
