ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

day 5 (friday evening) ok...i made a small vanilla ice cream with strawberries...sat it down to help do something else...not even one bite...lol...later on in the evening i made another one (the first one melted) and i had 2 bites before i sat it down to do something else...so i guess i did ok...lol...its sad that i would have given in to temptation however work made me stop...:-)...all thing work together for the good (copied from earlier journal)

day 6 saturday - got up at 7 and went to work at the second job...i forgot my choc milk and cranberry juice for breakfast - so i had a toasted blueberry bagel (no veggies) - skipped lunch - night was a luau that was catered, byob - alas - i did make some good choices however just about everything on the table was a carb or mixed with carbs...hummm...one salad that had the dressing on it already, but was the dark greens and fruit...but the rest were bad white carbs...

so i had the salad, it was bland - but should have been healthier, grilled hamberger and mett with no bun, potatoe salad, fruit, macaroni dish...stuck to the 5x5 rule that seems to work for me...

day 7 sunday - had to cook in the cafe for sunday am service..so i make a homemade fruit dip - made that with fresh fruit in a roll up form...they were a big hit - took the remainders to clints family reunion - once again like last night - no veggies (not even salad)...so lived by the 5x5 rule again...chicken, fruit, slaw, and i cannot remember the other two items...lol...

day 8 today - so far ive had grapes, choc milk, and alot of h20...not sure what will be for lunch - left it on the bar at home...dinner will be a salad with a protein...not sure what yet and the new line of salad dressings that i found are maple grove no sugar added - really great flavors...

a female rant...so guys if you want to quit reading feel free...

im past all this menopause crap...and yet what happens - friday night i start...have to call a doc and see what happened...anybody else on the down side of menopause ever have a cycle just start back up...didnt think it could happen...weird...

ok dudes...you can come back...thanks for being my fs buddies...

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

day 4 - yesterday pm - ok here was the pizza ingrediants...very thin crust on bottom and i did not eat the crust ridge...evoo, garlic, light mozzarella cheese, goat cheese, sun dried tomato, tomatos and origionally it had green peppers and mushrooms that i substitued for artichokes and bananna peppers...and one glass of merlot that i did not finish...so all in all not too bad

day 5 - today - chicken salad with a peach and cheese, dinner should be interesting - i am serving 125 people icecream sundae's for 2 hours...so if i do do dinner it wont be until after 10...we stop serving at 9 and after clean up and get somewhere to eat...so i am planning to float my molars with alot of water and tea and hopefully the icecream will not call my name toooo badly...

i did buy the stuff for the sundae's so i tried to get stuff that i did not care much for - but i have a serious sweet teeth and the sprinkles and strawberry /butterscotch toppings have been calling me all week...lol

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

day 1 - ate a salad for lunch with a sugar free maple groves farm salad dressing very good...lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sunflower nuts, and emerils salad toppers...

dinner was grilled fish topped with capers, tumeric, garlic, evoo,...brussel sprouts steamed with garlic, pine nuts, salt and pepper (i ate 3 of them) not bad could do them again...

day 2 - salad for lunch again...good - did not get home until after 8 so dinner was a couple of frozen pizza's...mine was a thin crust margarita pizza and clints was a loaded rising crust whopper of a pizza...so day two would be a bust...

day 3 - today should be ok...i have chicken salad with wasa crackers, tomatoes and a peach for lunch and then dinner will be the cabbage, onion, garlic, evoo combo with turkey kiaboska (sp?) sausage for dinner...

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

well - the veggies havent attacked much lately - ive been really on the justification side of things...the weeks of nuggets for dinner did it...i swear they broke me down...lol - so i aske hubby last night if he would be willing to go back to just veggies and protein for dinners for awile and he said yes...so thats what it will be and of course you all will be hearing about how yukkiiiiiii this process is...

for exercise - i have been doing better - not as good as i could but better - the exercise that im starting will be next tuesday and we will start with the walk away the pounds program - see how that goes and then add it more intense and longer programs...

clint and the girls are good...we thought spazzy blew her knee again but turns out that she just stretched it pretty badly...

since taking the kids to camp in june - i have planned and fed 250 people yesterday - and have another 125 that im doing this friday - along with working the second job 2 nights aweek...just normal boring stuffs...
