It is so great to weigh less regardless of how much less. I have to remember that whenever I get discouraged. It isn't about aesthetics, it is about having good cholesterol, low blood pressure, not being at risk for Diabetes, doing a workout and being able to complete it. Not to mention the fact that I feel good, I have energy and I am trying to diminish the importance of food in my life. I am not missing out on anything if everyone else is eating cookies, I don't have to turn to food when I feel stressed or depressed, I like the idea of thinking about it as energy. I am having a good day.

A friend of mine who is doing weight watchers has asked me to help her with doing more cardio. Last week we did our normal exercise classes plus treadmill and elliptical workouts three times last week and we both lost weight. It should be interesting to see what happens this week. I would like to incorporate one more day of weight lifting and some abdominal stuff, but for now it seems to be working.

4.2 lbs lost!! Wow! There is hope that I could be in the 150's. So, what I changed this week is I added more cardio and ate 20 or less carbs. I am going to keep that as a goal for this week. I'm so excited.

Does anyone else do well all week long and the day before you know you are going to get on a scale you become the biggest skeptic? I found myself thinking about how insurmountable 17 lbs seems to be. I really wish that I wasn't so emotional about the whole weight loss thing. I am doing what I can, so why isn't that enough? I have been considering two workouts a day, but honestly, I don't want to spend anymore time in the gym.
I am a work in progress.

Good morning FS Family,
I did it!! I am back in ketosis. So happy to see that strip turn purple, you just don't know or maybe you do. To top it off, I have had a few coworkers comment that I have lost weight or that I look thinner. Isn't it the best when others notice your efforts? I can't stop now because I still have 17 lbs to lose. I am hoping to have lost some weight this week. I will find out on Saturday; stay tuned.
