Yeah, there was no exercising last night.
And the next few days should be fun- today I have an office party for a co-worker who is leaving, tomorrow a birthday party for a niece (and there is going to be gluten-free food there because I am not the only one they know who is gluten free) and then we will be traveling for this birthday party both Saturday and Sunday.
Well, I should hopefully be able to run every day- I am starting to feel mildly better and my appetite is finally back (just in time for the parties- awesome)
On the very bright side- IT IS FRIDAY!!!

Still sniffly and coughing like a old lady who smokes a pack an hour (
sexy, right?
)but I did eat healthy yesterday... helped by the fact that I no longer had anything resembling an appetite.
I also did about 30 minutes of yoga/pilates/light weight lifting before I cried "uncle", threw on some PJs and crawled into bed to watch horror movies with pup while I waited for hubby to come back.
Does anyone else remember the "Yoga Booty Ballet" series?
I love them. They are the only DVDs that I enjoy doing, and I love the integration of meditation into the workout. I am starting to use two pound weights as well to start building up muscle and hopefully get rid of the flappy arms.
Today I may try to go for a run- but I will need to eat more than I did yesterday if I do. Even a two mile run would feel like something. So far not doing so well- only was able to choke down half my morning smoothie. We will see though, going with a friend to lunch so either way I am looking forward to that.

Ok, why is it when I am feeling healthy I eat healthy and as soon as I get sick it is nothing but carbs, carbs, and cheese (yeah, I am an odd one).
Anyhow, I am finally feeling a little bit better. And by that I mean I really didn't want to take two days off work and took some medication to muddle through the day (I hate cold meds- they make me feel "air head-ish" if that makes any sense to anyone).
I refused to even step on the scale. I am already stressed and feeling lousy enough so instead I will just concentrate on eating healthy and exercising on a daily basis and step on the scale next Monday to face the music.
Each day is a new day! (and this one is completely being fueled by coffee and cold meds).

Wow this weekend I did not stick to any of my diet (other than the gluten free portion obviously) and it shows. I feel sluggish, and I am so not happy with the number on the scale that I am refusing to record it hoping that most of it is just bloat from eating horrible food.
On the positive side- I did run 3 miles each day, and I managed to have a great time even though I am fighting a cold/stomach thing (yeah, so eating horribly was even a doubly bad idea since my tummy was already icky). Saw some family, and had a great time with hubby.
I also started meditating again- my stress levels are just nuts and while I know that the situation I am in will eventually level out I still need to find a way to deal with the excess stress.
