Gym was sparse last night and I got in some Yoga. Its raining today so I dont know if Ill get outside for a walk. Id hate to take the dogs out but they would probably love it. I signed up for the gym tonight mainly because I want to get it in before they close all of the gyms here. They cut class sizes and no more shared equipment. I have some weights at home, an elliptical, and theres a bunch of free fitness online. I just really love my gym family.
My work just extended our "out of office" until 3/31. We have an All Staff Zoom meeting on Monday and its giving me a little anxiety. I hope we are going to continue getting paid even though we cant put on any events right now. I just keep telling myself, at least Im getting paid right now, and it will all work out in the end.
Anyway, I didnt get nearly enough protein yesterday (but had an AMAZING Reuben) so Im trying to do better today. Luckily, my kid finished the pie we got for Pi Day (3/14) - Rather she ate all of the Apple filling and left the crust. 😂 Thats just one less temptation!

IDK whats happening but me likey!!
Just kidding, whats happening is Im logging my food, paying attention to portions and macros, drinking water, and moving my body. Now I just have to rinse and repeat forever!
Its WFH (work from home) day 2. I did well yesterday. I didnt eat the house down, and I went for a walk on my "lunch break". Staying focused though...that was a struggle. Going to try some Google Chrome extensions and the Pomodoro timer to keep me focused today.
I went to the gym last night after worrying about it all day. I thought it would a small class since they added AM classes to keep size down, but there were 10 of us there. That sounds small but there was no way to "stay away" from each other. So after the first round I said something like - "I feel guilty being here when they keep saying stay home" and everyone jumped on me. The gym owner gets defensive when she thinks someone is attacking her so she was like - well I could just close if you want me to but nobody wants that do they? and a other people were like - I lose my minds if the gym was closed - and again other people were like - just keep your distance. Yeah, I didnt really feel like I got in the best workout after that. What I meant was - I would hate to give the virus to someone if I already have it. My kid and I live with my mother who is a spry 75 - But I dont want to bring it home to her either. So to compromise, Im only going to the gym if there are under 5 people signed up. Thats leaves plenty of room, and gives me sanity.

Welp, Im working from home and thats a challenge in itself. Im really struggle with concentration as it is, and now Im home with all of the food, family, and furry friends.
Tonight were going to take stock of whats in the fridge and freezer, make lists, and reorganize. I feel like were ok, just need to know what we actually have.
My kid had a friend over this weekend. I know that were all on lock down, but I feel like this weekend was the last hurrah for everyone so they went to a movie (in an empty theater) and her friend stayed over. And the next day was coughing. Im very torn, she young and so I dont know if she just has allergies or is really infected? My gym is very small and is staying open and were going to do bodyweight workouts and be spaced out - I dont know if I should go. The responsible thing would be to stay home, but I dont know if I can mentally handle not going.

I almost peed my pants getting to the bathroom this morning so I mustve drank more water yesterday. 🤣
I feel like yesterday was a much much much better day. It wasnt perfect, but I went to DQ and got a grilled chicken sandwich instead of all of the other things I wanted.
I went to the gym last night and felt pretty good about my performance. I pushed myself on using heavier weights and felt strong.
No gym today but Ill be moving and watching my nutrition. I feel like Im getting over my slump and getting back on track.
