well back to the salt minds so to speak. Really overate the last few days. Re-started the diet part today nothing crazy just trying to keep it to 200 carbs and 1800-2000 calories today, will slowly step it down during the week, hopefully it will get off this plateau I seem to be on.
Just had breakfast going to finish my last cup of coffee and then get to work in the yard today's goal is to clean and area behind the old and new sheds, maybe get the white trim painted on the new shed.
Like I said hopefully the calorie and carb step down, along with he work will jump the body to burn some of the dreaded fat.

Well today was a good day. I got a great job from my diabetes doctor, heart doctor and my dietitian. Apparently I lost over 20 lbs since January 3rd, and my A1C was 5.6 below just below mind you of pre-diabetes. My HDL< LDL total cholesterol was all perfect. Only concern was Vitamin D-3 which was a 37 they want that higher so instead of taking 1000 AU I am now taking 2000 AU per day.

Well I been keeping busy building a custom shed over my pool pumping system. Started out as father & son project, it turned out to be a father only project. Which I guess is for the best as when-ever he actually helped me he screwed up. I have got to say first and foremost I love my son... However, for a 30 yr old man he has no skills with mechanical things. I mean how hard is it to use a tape measure.
The good news is that with all the hard work, I really haven't gained any weight with all the extra high carb eating. So I guess that is good. Just had my blood work and other testing done so my A1C is holding at 5.6% which is registering at Pre - diabetic. All the Cholesterol was good and normal ranges. So eating somewhat healthy and exercising (work) is paying off in some of the health issues.

Well off my diet today, 2 egg bagels, an a piece of vanilla cake (7 inch store bought cake). I made shredded beef enchilada smothered in cheddar cheese for dinner tonight. Didn't work on the shed are yard today, as I just feel so cold today. This weather change the last two days is not helpful when your cooped up inside.
Also, we resupplied at Shop-Rite today. I literally got the last dozen eggs. No chicken in the store at all. Most shelves are bare. I think this makes people nuts as you end up buying anything. Not to mention the food prices are way up. Guess it is okay for the grocery stores to engage in profiteering.
This month has reminded me of when I grew up 55 years ago we had what was know as the "Blue Law" nothing open except Church, Gas Station and Food Store's" Except nowadays the church's are closed. We used to go to the State Parks or the Auction for something to do. You can't do that either. I know what the government is doing is for all of our own good. However it is like being in home prison.
Anyway enough of the Woe is me stuff. I do hope everyone is doing well eating okay and staying Virus free.
