Every day when I wake up, put clothes on, and look in the mirror is one more day that I am unhappy. But-things are getting better. I have a wonderfully inspirational workout buddy who isn't letting my self esteem stand in the way of reaching my goals...you know who you are... Hopefully this website will force me to get my butt in gear and stay on track. It can be so easy to say, "oh this one bite or this one meal won't hurt..." or "I'll start the diet tomorrow..." Well, I'm through with that. I'd much rather stand in front of the mirror and at least say, hey, I'm working on it...than be upset and not do anything about it.

Oh you sound so much like me! You'll be surprised how quickly you'll start to feel better about yourself. With every healthy pound of weight loss you'll feel so much lighter and happier because you'll feel in control. keep doing what you are doing and dont give up! before i started the SBD i was miserable with myself and a miserable person to be around b/c i wasnt happy with my body. i wouldnt even let my boyfriend look at me without clothes on. the sad thing was i never did anything about it, i just stuffed my face like a crazy lady to make myself feel better. since starting this diet i have so much more confidence and i am can finally feel comfortable in my own skin. it is a wonderful feeling and you will soon feel the same if you stay committed. it is is kind of hard at first but you will soon love the food that your eating and you wont want to eat anything unhealthy. have a great day!

Remember, you will never be this heavy again! Everyday you will be losing a little weight. It could only be 1lb a week, it could be more. Some weeks you may stay the same! But eventually your weight will become less and less. Having a workout buddy is great. You will be amazed at the difference a little exercise everyday will make to your shape and weight, even if it's just walking fast with your ipod on. If you do fall of the food wagon, don't give up, just get back on it! We all wish you the best of luck : )

Today is the 1st day of the rest of your life- ps, I walk around naked to make myself comfortable w/ my body- I swear I saw it on Oprah! *giggles*
