new diet start day. I really do falter alot with dieting. I had so much will power to give up smoking, so why is it so hard to give up my over eating and food vices?

Why don't you look at it as a new "way of life" instead of "dieting"? It helps take the pressure off, and will allow you to get the weight off and keep it off. Good luck!
