LizFire4God's Journal, 29 May 11

I've been a little depressed this week (probably why the scale's number is pretty depressing, too!). I've had some back pain creep up on me since I've been nannying more lately...picking up a hefty baby! My chiropractor has limited me to just doing yoga for awhile, until I strengthen my core while I drop the pounds. Granted, I've never done yoga before, but I doubt you burn as many calories as you would at the gym.

This really bummed me out because the reality hit that there's probably no chance I'll be meeting my goal of 30 lbs by my birthday. In the end, I'd choose being back pain free over meeting the goal anyday. Back pain is awful! So, I just need to see it for what it is, and just keep at doing what I know to do to improve my health. I'll get there in due time.

I am so sorry you are having back troubles. I have been there and know the toll it can take. Hang in there!

Don't be discouraged! Its much harder to lose than gain. I unfortunately gain 3lbs on the cruise. There was no way to resist food piled and forced upon me. I enjoyed every minute eating :)

Remember....you should never DIET...You need to do a complete live change....new attitude, new eating style, new outlook..Think about when your overeating....and most importantly...Why! Then, replace the emotional eating, or the bordem or the anxiousness with somthing else....80% of the time we eat because the body is thursty...See if that is it first. I have tried the full lass of water pre meal...fills the stomach and quenches any thurst.
