3 parts olive oil
1 part vinegar
Stir in a little stone ground mustard (or mayo, greek yogurt) to emulsify with your oil. then stir in vinegar of choice.
if you go with balsamic, do 1/4 instead of 1/3

Blend (I just put it all in a jar and shake until smooth):
1 tablespoon frozen lime-ade concentrate,
1 tablespoon light sour cream or 1% plain yogurt,
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar,
1 teaspoon mayo (double if using yogurt),
and a few drops of sesame oil.
Add white pepper and salt to taste, as desired.

Check label for buttermilk as first ingredient. Some Bolthouse Dressings, O'Charley's Ranch. Most others have Soy Oil and Sugar and are no go.

Balsamic vinegar. It's great without all the added sodium or sugar and has a nice mild flavor.

I've been obSESSED with this avocado dressing: https://www.simplyscratch.com/2014/04/creamy-avocado-salad-dressing.html
I used it as a dip for some air fryer sweet potato fries the other day and it was so good. In that post, she has a link to a list of 40+ homemade dressings, including a miso carrot dressing I'm dying to try. They aren't necessarily all low cal, but they are healthier than the stuff from grocery store shelves. =)

I use Bolthouse yogurt dressings, most are 45 calories for 2 tablespoons, some are even less and I find them tasty.
