MarelYVR's Journal, 27 Jan 09

I think I've figured out my downfall. Evenings. I was perfect all day, even had a very legal dinner but after dinner I ate like 4 100 calorie snacks in the span of 42 seconds. Seriously. It's like my brain stops working for an instant and I temporarily lose my mind and my self discipline. I haven't quite figured out a way to tackle that problem yet but it's really frustrating, especially when I've been so good all day and resisted so many temptations.

As I write this, I resisted joining ALL of my colleagues at a pizza lunch. I stayed back and had my carrots and hummus. So if I can do that, why do I temporarily lose my mind.

Hope everyone else is having a good week!

Hang in there...I have the same problem. I try keeping myself busy with things so that I don't think about food. Or try to chew a piece of gum to help things along. You do great during the day and I don't think that you are killing yourself at night by any means. Keep up what you are doing, I know it is working for you!
