Losing 2.2 kg a Week

Well, I could make excuses... lots of them but the bottom line is that I made some poor food choices when I had some choices. Last week was a tough week, staying away from home, several events and adding an extra two hour drive to my day. I didn't get to the gym as there was no gym where I was working last week and I just couldn't get in gear when I finally got back from work at 8:30 pm after a 14 hour day. So, with all of that I'm okay with the fact that there were some situations where I had to eat what was put in front of me or eat nothing but I AM disappointed with some of my food choices when I did have the option.
Well, it's a new week. I'll be home all week, back at the gym with the ability to write things down and get my food intake back on track so that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'll get there. Just need to keep moving forward!
Hope everyone had a good weekend and didn't get off track too much at the Super Bowl parties :-) (but those chips were SO good)

I think I've figured out my downfall. Evenings. I was perfect all day, even had a very legal dinner but after dinner I ate like 4 100 calorie snacks in the span of 42 seconds. Seriously. It's like my brain stops working for an instant and I temporarily lose my mind and my self discipline. I haven't quite figured out a way to tackle that problem yet but it's really frustrating, especially when I've been so good all day and resisted so many temptations.
As I write this, I resisted joining ALL of my colleagues at a pizza lunch. I stayed back and had my carrots and hummus. So if I can do that, why do I temporarily lose my mind.
Hope everyone else is having a good week!
