Iv just been swimming! Pushed myself above the usual (twice a year) 50 lengths,and managed 60! Very pleased with myself! Feels great to get out and have some me time.

well done, if i could swim(properly) i would always go, its relaxing and a very good exercise. i darent have swimming lessons coz im 23 n im embarrassed lol.

Please dont be embarraced.My Mother in law to be has just started hving lessons and she is 54! Swimming is great and gentle excersise.I do 150-200 lengths a week,and feel much fitter.I dont go mad,just breast stroke.Go for it!x
