I find myself looking at myself with disdain, I don't like it. I will be 50 in just a couple of weeks and while I know we all age and change I want to do it as gracefully as possible, while maintaining a healthy AND enjoyable lifestyle! My love and I are both above average cooks who enjoy the pleasures of food with all of our senses - I won't give that up. Luckily, he is away right now so I can begin this transformation on my own and take responsibility for my own behavior and I love things like quinoa and most veg... I just need some balance, a bit more movement, and maybe little less sweetness from processed sugar... I don't know how often I will feel like sharing my sadness and\ or triumphs but let the journey begin. Hello new friends ;)
