I went way, way over yesterday. Yet, I still didn't do a good old fashioned binge. I ate things that were allowed, only way more than I should have. I don't know if this will derail me. I do know I need to stop the atkins endulge bars for now. I've been hungry and craving since I slipped them into my diet.

Vinni, throw them into the freezer, way in the back and forget they exist, until you are on maintenance!! You have come too far to be derailed now. We all have days where we slip, and you are smart to recognize what a slippery slope it is when we start to slide. How did the doctor appointment go?

Dr appntment went just fine. I'm off the blood pressure meds. I go back in about 10 days to see how I'm doing without them. And I agree. The endulge bars go in the freezer, or the kids can eat them.

Vinni, I am soooooo excited for you!! No more BP meds. Egads woman, you must feel like someone just lifted a yoke from your neck! Hot dog, I am doing the Snoopy happy dance for you, darlin'!! And you did it all by yourself. This victory is all yours and no one elses! Savor it, you worked very hard to get here, and there is no stopping you now!!! Now that's progress! Especially avoiding the binge!! You should be proud. As far as the Atkins bars go... I just nibble on them for a little treat... I can make a bite work for me...little sip of coffee..I'm good.

Thanks, everyone! I really appreciate the positive feedback. I'll feel like I've really accomplished a lot when I can get off the diabetes meds!
