well day 11 and 12 are done. I had a cup of coffee yesterday but no real change today. I plan to have a little chicken tonight for dinner. I got my monthly or in my case biweekly visitor so I am kinda bummin' I cancelled on the gym tonight becase I just want to vegg on the couch and do nothing. Tomorrow I will clean and get a great workout doing that. Today, I just want to do nothing. I had a really good day too. I put on a pair of jeans today that have been "snug" for a long time and they went on great and I felt great in them all day. My mom (tootsie) seems to be having a great day and that really gave me a lift as well. Then my "company" came and I just feel blah :/ Gotta run-okay walk. Later gators!

My name is Nadia, I am 42 and have 3 boys, 15, 12 & 10. You guys have convinced me to try "Fat Smash Diet" I still have to buy the book, but reading your post, I assume you are not allowed to drink coffee for first few weeks; please tell me I am wrong in my assumption, because I can't live without coffee for any number of days. I work nights.

Nadia - I didn't give up coffee entirely. Just couldn't give that up plus everything else I loved. And I still lost 6 pounds. I am used to drinking coffee all day long, and cutting back to one cup in the morning has been ok. I'm finding that I don't really need it to boost my energy anymore. I think the fresh fruit & veg are giving me the energy now. Best to you

I think that in order to stay with this program you should allow yourself a few steps back to keep going forward. I just read that nicoandy didnt give up coffee so that made my day!
